We are looking for a Market Development Advisor (remote) to join our team. Specifically someone who has worked in the public sector (e.g., Local Government, non-profits, schools and hospitals). You must have substantial expertise in a segment working 10+ years. You must also be well connected with your peers and possess a great understanding of their reporting needs.
Ownership of growing LiveStories brand and customer base in a given territory through your network and strategic advice.
Advise the team on highly consultative, complex sales cycle with potentially multiple buyers.
Be an evangelist for LiveStories products and services
Experience and passion for customers- and the pain they encounter with reporting needs
Manage and provide transparency/visibility into accurate forecasting.
Quickly develop thorough knowledge of the company, products and partner verticals
Engage with the team to validate product strategy
Maintain a high volume of market generating activity such as introductions into potential clients. Participating in events and shows. Jumping on calls with potential clients and the sales team to espouse the benefits of our products.
Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within a team environment.
Consult with clients on their desired outcomes and the most effective way to use our software to achieve their goals.
Generate leads by appropriately managing existing relationships and by using contacts in your network
Develop account plans for a named list by winning new logos within the organization and expanding existing opportunities
Work with marketing, sales and the account development representatives team to drive pipeline growth in your territory.
Advise senior leadership on product and market direction.
10+ years of local government experience,
Demonstrated success at incorporating data in past public sector work
Experience in consulting a plus
Understanding of how technology can impact government
Deep understanding of deal cadence and flow
Demonstrated level of success in the development of net new client relationships.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
High energy and drive
Passion for technology's impact on society and appreciation for the power of data
A systematic approach to networking and follow up
Skill in preparing and presenting communications and materials.
