What we’re looking for:•A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a quantitative discipline e.g. statistics, physics or mathematics preferred•At least 3 -5 years’ experience of working as a Technical Lead / Delivery Manager in a collaborative but disciplined agile delivery environment •At least 3 -5 years’ experience in end to end data integration and delivery•At least 3 -5 years’ experience in SQL scripting dialect, preferably Microsoft T-SQL•At least 3 -5 years’ experience with RDMS platform such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, PostgresSQL, MySQL, Unix Platform•2 – 3 years of experience with Database schema version control tooling, e.g. Flyway, Liquibase
Skills that will help you in the role:•Strong knowledge of document database platforms such as Mongo, DocumentDB•Experience with data integration platforms such as Microsoft SSIS, Informatica, Ab Initio, IBM MQ•Experience in designing database structures•Knowledge of data analysis using Python•Utilizing code analysis and inspection tooling such as SonarQube•Evidence of consuming and producing data feeds exposed via SFTP, web APIs, etc•Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, LEAN methodologies•Knowledge of Data Lake concepts•Great communication and problem-solving skills, and a good team player
